据此前报道，亚布塞莱和皇马的买断费为250万美元，根据联盟规定，76人最多只能为他支付85万，剩余的需要他自己和皇马解决。

亚布塞莱在奥运会表现非常出色，最后三场淘汰赛，他在和加拿大、德国、美国的比赛中场均砍下19.67分，帮助法国男篮获得奥运银牌。
